As we continue to grow, our energy demands have increased significantly due to the expansion of its production operations. To address rising electricity costs and reduce the environmental impact of its manufacturing processes, ETNA is launching a strategic project to install renewable energy production capacity.
Guided by the findings of a recent energy consumption audit, the initiative aims to optimize production expenses, support increased output, and contribute to a more sustainable future. As part of the project, the company will install a 200 kW solar power plant to generate clean, renewable energy on-site.
This project is being implemented with financial support from the 2022–2030 Development Programme administered by the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, under the economic transformation and competitiveness development programme. It falls within the progress measure “Promoting the Transition of Companies Towards a Climate-Neutral Economy”, and specifically within the activity “Promoting the Installation of Renewable Energy Sources in Industrial Enterprises.”
The project is scheduled to run from July 28, 2023, to July 30, 2025.
